Awesome stay with great hospitality!
We had a fab night after a wedding nearby! The early check-in was super helpful to drop off our bags. The room was big, clean, and comfy – that king bed was a dream! The breakfast had everything – full English and fresh fruit too. Only wish there was a later check-out time. Loved the cozy vibe!

The bed offered exceptional comfort which made for a restful night. Breakfast had a wide variety of good quality options that pleased my taste buds.
There was some noise from the street that could be heard at night.

The Deluxe Double Room with Shower features plush bedding, various tea options, and delicious biscuits waiting for you upon arrival. The attention to detail with amenities like shower gel and cotton wool pads made the stay feel special and well thought out.
It's worth noting this is a B&B, which caught me off guard. expectations of a whole cottage were misplaced. while breakfast offerings were fantastic, clarity on the extra cost could improve the overall experience, as it seemed implied that breakfast might be included in the package.

The breakfast was spot on, featuring loads of options to kickstart your day. The hospitality from Philip and Theresa makes you feel like family, and their little touches—shortbread and chilled juice in the room—felt like a proper treat. Plus, being close to Bashall Barn for events? Brilliant!
I was bummed about not having a front door key, felt a bit awkward coming back late. a heads-up in the small print would have been nice since it’s a B&B, not a full cottage.

I expected to have exclusive access to the entire cottage instead of just a room. It would have been helpful to have clearer communication about the breakfast arrangement being separate, which caught us off guard at check-in.

I recently stayed at a lovely B&B where the full English breakfast was delicious, and the cozy room made me feel right at home. The beautiful garden offered perfect spots to unwind, surrounded by nature. Only downside was the Wi-Fi being a bit slow, but it didn’t ruin my experience at all. 🌿
